Every September, we celebrate Tavi's birthday by giving other dogs a brighter future.
Tavi was more than the inspiration behind the name Tavi's Treats—he was my best friend, my shadow, and the reason this bakery exists. After losing him to hemangiosarcoma in January 2023, I knew I wanted his story to continue making a difference.
While nothing can change what happened to Tavi, I believe his legacy can help create hope for other families facing the same heartbreaking diagnosis.
That's why every September—Tavi's birthday month—Tavi's Treats hosts an annual fundraiser supporting canine hemangiosarcoma research.
Our goal is simple:
To help create a future where more dogs are diagnosed earlier, have access to better treatments, and spend more time with the people who love them.

Why Hemangiosarcoma?
Hemangiosarcoma is one of the most aggressive cancers affecting dogs.
It often develops silently, with few or no warning signs, leaving families with little time to prepare for devastating news.
Research offers hope.
Hope for earlier detection.
Hope for better treatments.
Hope that one day, families will have more birthdays, more adventures, and more ordinary moments with the dogs they love.
